Episode 11
TODAY’S READING:
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
Psalm 56:4
Happy Monday! Thank you, Lord, for another week!
Let me encourage you this morning. I want us to speak life over our faith. This verse is declaring… as we praise Him and as we trust Him, there is no reason to fear. What can mortal man do to me?
The answer is nothing!
I don’t know if you are walking through a season that has your faith shaken. I am not sure if you’re still healing from old wounds someone gave you. I am not sure if you are waiting for the man to promote you to your Job. I don’t know if you are waiting for something amazing to happen in your finances. It’s possible you are still working through disappointments.
Let me remind you, the people around you do not have the authority to make you fear your next chapter. The only person with authority over your next chapter in life is God. If we praise him while we wait, if he trusts him while we work, there is nothing any man can do that will take away God’s blessings for us.
Let’s all commit to one thing. Let’s praise Him in the waiting. Let’s praise him when things get uncomfortable. Let’s praise him when your life seems like a mess. Let’s praise him while we are hurting. Why? Because there is nothing, anyone can do to hurt you. You are a child of God, and he has your life in the palm of his hands.
So together, let’s repeat this: I will not be afraid. No matter what comes our way, we do not have to be afraid.
That is going to be my mantra all week. Praise Him and Trust Him, no matter what waters you are facing.
PRAYER
Lord, thank you for a beautiful Monday morning. I pray we all had wonderful weekends surrounded by loved ones. As we get ready for the week ahead of us, I pray we all repeat these words to ourselves over and over again. Lord, we will not be afraid. We know you have us in the palm of your hand. We know the plans you have for our lives are better than we could ever imagine. There is nothing another man can do on this earth that will take away the blessings you have for us. While we wait on you, we praise you, and we trust you. In your mighty name, we pray, Amen!
