Episode 72
TODAY’S READING:
No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Joshua 1:5
Happy Tuesday, dear friends in faith! I pray you had an amazing weekend.
A great friend of mine suggested I used this verse in one of my devotionals.
I agree it’s such a beautiful verse and one that I think we will all benefit from.
We’ve all been there. We hit a moment when we doubted if God was there. We say things like “Are you even listening to God?” or “Why is this happening to me, God?”
Let’s all agree; there are some seasons and moments where we don’t understand. We can’t fathom why. Remember last week when we talked about the bigger picture. It’s possible your pain, and your mountains are to show another their mountain can be moved.
However, it doesn’t discount your emotions and feelings in the middle of your pain.
God is saying that he will never leave you or forsake you. The common theme these past dew devotionals have been that He is greater. He is always with you. He is always fighting for you, and nothing will harm you. No weapon, no words, no season.
Our God is good God.
PRAYER
Jesus, thank you for being so good. Thank you for being a shelter to lean on when we are going through some tough seasons. We ask that you continue to bless us as we enter a new season. As we begin virtual classes and continue to work on our ideas and plans, we pray for your guidance. You are with us always, and we ask that you council our every move. We pray that you bless us and those around us. We pray for those on mountain tops and those in the valley. May you comfort us all in the way we need. It is in your Holy name that we pray, Amen!
