Episode 77

TODAY’S READING:

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

1 John 5:13-14

 

There is power in His name. There is power in our words. 

 

When we truly understand this principle, our lives will change forever. I will say it again; there is power in our words. We have the promise of eternal life.  We have the promise that if we ask for anything, according to his will, he will hear us. 

 

It’s time we start speaking to our situations the way God speaks to them. It’s time we start telling our mountains who our God is. 

 

So start declaring the goodness of God over your life. 

Start declaring life over your cancer. 

Start declaring love over your broken relationships. 

Start declaring healing over your depression. 

Start declaring peace over your anxiety. 

Start declaring victory over your finances. 

 

We all go through so much in a day. 60,000 thoughts a day race through our minds. I hope that the majority of your thoughts are declarations of God’s goodness. I pray when we get that doctor’s report, we know with every fiber in our being that God is going to heal every cell. 

 

Our God is powerful. Our words are powerful. Let’s start changing our vocabulary, and let’s start declaring his goodness. He is listening.

 

PRAYER

Jesus, thank you for listening to our needs. Thank you for giving us the power to declare healing over any situation. I pray we all declare goodness over our situations. God, I don’t know what weighs heavy on some people’s hearts, but you do. Lord, if it’s a sick family member, listen to their prayers. Lord, if it’s a need for financial blessings, listen to their prayers. We love you and honor you; it is in your holy name that we pray, Amen!
