Episode 78
TODAY’S READING:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
Today’s devotional is brought to you by my sister, Alexandra Roldan!
We all know that God loves us unconditionally. No matter what we do, he is going to love us and support us, but today, I wanted to talk about the holy spirit.
In this verse, the writer is saying to allow God to fill you up so that you can overflow in the power of the Holy Spirit.
I don’t know about you, but honestly, it took me forever to understand the Holy Spirit, but once I did, my life literally changed.
But first, what is the Holy Spirit? Well, it’s simple it’s God’s power within us which in turn means WE are powerful!!!
God gave us the Holy Spirit so that we could ALWAYS have a connection to him. We have a direct line to god, and he is within us through the Holy Spirit.
The holt spirit, in my opinion, is the little voice in my head that speaks to me all day long; it’s always with me, never leaves, and sometimes doesn’t stop talking, BUT if you were to quiet your mind and learn how to speak to your little voice or Holy Spirit, then you’ll see how your life starts changing.
When you are anxious, speak to yourself and ask the Holy Spirit within your to help calm yourself down.
When you are unsure of something, ask your Holy Spirit what the right answer is and pray about it, and the answer will come to you.
Learn how to rely on the holy spirit, speak to him throughout your day, speak to him when you are on the mountain tops and when you are in the valley, develop a relationship with him and watch how your life changes.
PRAYER
Jesus, thank you for the Holy Spirit. Thank you for residing with us. Thank you for being there when we need you most. We thank you for your connection. We pray for a beautiful day ahead of us filled with all the joy in the world. We honor you, and we love you; it is in your mighty name that we pray, Amen!
