Episode 100

TODAY’S READING:

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Ecclesiastes 3:11

One Hundred Episodes.

This episode is a big milestone for me, but I know it’s nothing compared to what God can do. So this is the first of many.

Thank you for praying with me each morning.

This verse has always been so special to me, and I figured it fitted for today.

He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart, yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

It means we must trust that His timing is perfect timing. If your future spouse hasn’t walked into your life yet, it’s because it’s not the right time. If you and your husband/wife are trying to have a baby and it hasn’t happened yet, it’s because it’s not the right time.

God uses the time between our prayers as the breeding ground for our faith.

He needs you to trust Him in the waiting. And when it does happen, we can walk in the full confidence that all things will be made beautiful.

The second part of this verse says that he set eternity in the human heart, yet no man can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

It gets me excited because we all have an idea of how big God is. He created the Universe! He created the stars and the galaxy, and the planets. He is such a big God, yet he also knows your name and how many hairs are on your head. He knows your innermost thoughts. He deposited His spirit inside you. He is so personal and small.

That same God created the heavens, and we know we want to spend eternity with Him. But we can’t even fathom what that’s going to look like. God is a good friend.

In the past 100 episodes, it’s been clear over and over again. Trust God with your life every single day and watch how your life transforms – you might not see the change day over the day, but you will see the change week over a week over week.

PRAYER

Father God, you are the God of the Universe. Lord, you put the stars in orbit, yet you know my more inner parts. You know we are feeling, you know what we are walking through, you know what we need. We know that your timing is perfect, and in between our prayers, we will continue to wait patiently. We won’t sit and complain but do exactly the opposite. We will start to prepare for the blessings. We ask that we find time this weekend to take the Sabbath and rest in your presence. It is in your Holy name that we pray, Amen!
