Episode 126

TODAY’S READING:

When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies be at peace with him.

Proverbs 16:7

Good morning and happy Monday!

Here’s a little Wisdom for you to start your week. Be so in love with God & be so obedient to His will that even your enemies won’t have anything to say.

My prayer for us all, my prayer for you, is that when you walk into a room, everyone knows you carry the presence of God.

The way you carry yourself, the words you speak, your action and dreams should all align with the word of God.

Our ways should always please the Lord, but we tend to be rocky in our habits. We tend to be selfish, and we don’t give back to those around us. Sometimes we are unwilling to do what he is calling us to do. Sometimes we live in the past full of regret, and other times we are just so focused on the future that we don’t see the gift of today.

I can be guilty of that last one.

As we start this beautiful thanksgiving week, my prayer for us all is that we are present. Let’s become mindful of our actions, of our words, of our habits. Let’s feel the presence of God as our families gather for this holiday season. Most of all, I pray your families are safe this week.

Your thanksgiving could look different this year. Maybe you lost a loved one in 2020; it’s going to hurt but know that it will be okay because they are dancing in heaven with Jesus.

I pray we live good lives, ones that even our enemies can be at peace with. There are cruel people in this world, but our fight isn’t against flesh and bones.

PRAYER

Jesus, we look to you this week. Father ground us. Make us ever so present. We want to feel your love; we want to feel the gift of this week. We ask that you protect our families. We ask that you cover our homes with your angels. Jesus, we want to live good lives. We want to be obedient to the call. We want to live a life that pleases us. So guide us in the right direction today. Give us the one thing to do today. It is in your Holy Name that we pray, Amen!
