Episode 151

TODAY’S READING:

37 No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:37-39

GOOOOD Morning, Fam! I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas week! I am sure we are all on the same wavelength, where we are getting ready for the new year, and all that 2021 has in store. As we start getting our ducks in a row and start putting some resolutions together, I wanted to give you guys this affirmation to hold onto today. I hope this devotional leaves you inspired and ready to tackle these resolutions.

I am MORE than a conqueror.

These verses are beautiful reminders and should be stabled in everyone’s life. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. The beauty of this passage is that it talks about how much he loves us. Because he loves so so much, because there is NOTHING we can do, be, or go, that would separate His love for us.

This means that in our day today, we can face different obstacles and make stupid mistakes but still come back to the one truth. That he loves us no matter what. This doesn’t give you a hall pass to become an awful person, but this serves as a reminder that when we work hard, we can conquer all things. That includes all goals and resolutions.

We should all strive to be better in the new year. To learn more from God every day. With Him and His love, we can accomplish great things.

I pray as we go about our day, we remember His love, His goodness, and His strength that we can lean on. No matter what you face, new classes at school, weight loss goals, new job on the horizon, career changes, whatever it is, we are conquering through Him.

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for another beautiful week ahead of us. Thank you for giving us this Monday; thank you for blessing us with this day. Father, as we prepare for the new year, we ask that you give us a vision for the life you want us to live. Give us the strength to keep coming back and connecting with you. We ask that you bless these last few days. With every closing chapter comes a new and better one; even if they are harder than the one before, they are better because you continue to mold us into the people you have called us to be. We love you with everything in us; it is because of you that we get to conquer this day. Thank you for not allowing absolutely anything on this earth to separate us from you; we do not take that lightly! It is in your mighty name that we pray, AMEN!
