Episode 226

TODAY’S READING:

The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.

Proverbs 13:4

Happy Monday! This is the perfect verse for a Monday. Get organized! Stop craving for a better life and make the changes today.

Stop telling yourself you’re going to start the diet and make the changes today. Start being diligent in your ways today.

Clean your room, organize your homes. Spring cleaning is in full effect.

I went to bed last night, and my room looked like a hurricane ran through it. I know that when I am disorganized, my life is disorganized, so I will be spending time today reorganizing myself and getting ready for this new season.

I know that my room is a direct reflection of what’s going on in my head. The same can be said about you. If your life isn’t in order, it’s probably because your thoughts aren’t either. That’s okay; you aren’t alone in that.

I don’t think we are meant to have it all figured out, but I do believe if we are diligent in our ways, we will be richly supplied.

PRAYER

Father God, help us in getting this week off on the right foot. Help us be diligent in the foods we eat, the time we spend, and the organization with everything around us. Help us in staying focused on the task in front of us. Keep us from not staying focused. Keep us from the distractions. We ask that you help us carve the time today to plan our week. May we do not fall into the distraction of clutter or anything else that may draw our attention. We love you with everything in us; it is in your Holy Name that we pray, AMEN!
