Episode 239

TODAY’S READING:

And we know that for those who love God, all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

Our prayer for today was called The Father, and I prayed in how all the Glory is to Him! Well, just as it would happen, my episode didn’t load properly across the different channels, and so I woke up in a sheer panic.

Instantly trying to fix the problem. I emailed all who I could, tried tracking down a support phone number. I looked for ways to edit the upload, but nothing worked.

The answer was, you might have to wait 24 hours for the show to upload.

I had no control, and I was quickly reminded of just how little control we have in this life.

The only control we have is how we react to situations when they arise. Our trust has to be in Him.

God is everywhere; He is in everything. He knows the episode had trouble uploading today. He knows I did my part; He knows people are in need of prayer, and yet he is calm, cool, and collected because all is going to work out.

The same could be said in our personal lives. He knows you forgot to take out the trash, and it’s overflowing on the side of the house. He knows that you didn’t get the clothes into the dryer on time, so you need to wash them again. He knows that your favorite perfume fell and broke on the floor. But he also knows that the doctor reports didn’t come back as you had expected. He also knows your child is struggling in school. He also knows that your career is treading a fine line because of some mistake at work. He knows the little stuff, and He knows the big stuff.

Sometimes we can’t fix the problem; all we can do is our part. All we can do is get the necessary things in order, and then we have to match that with faith that it’s going to get resolved in God’s timing.

PRAYER

Father God, when things don’t go as planned, it can cripple us sometimes. We want to control the outcome of all the moving pieces around us, but oh how we are humbled so quickly. God, you are the one in control; you are the one that watches over us. We pray that when we can’t control the little things, and we can’t control the big things like doctor’s reports, we pray we surrender it to you. We trust you with your lives, and our souls, and our spirits. It is with everything in us that we pray, AMEN!
