From everlasting to everlasting, You are God

Psalm 90:2

 

Quick Devo this morning to remind you that in everything, He is God. He is God over our circumstances. Over our mental health. Over our stance on politics. He is God over our addictions and behaviors. He is God.

 

No matter what we face, no matter where we go, He is God.

 

I was having somewhat of a rough day. It was really a great day, but when the leaves of my life start to settle, and things get quiet, the anxiety creeps in, and sometimes it sinks me. I operate from a place of being self-reliant rather than leaning on God.

 

I must remind myself that in my past, He was God, and in my future, He is God. He is the one thing I can trust for the rest of my life. He is the only thing that is constant, everything else comes and goes, but His character is forever. 

 

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for being the one thing we can count on. Thank you for leading us in prayer every morning. Thank you for being the light in our lives. We ask you to please bless this Tuesday ahead of us. May you open doors or prompt us to speak to random people. May you use us to heal another. May you help us in spreading your love. It is in your Holy name that we pray, AMEN!
