Episode 286

TODAY’S READING:

In him and through faith in him, we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

Ephesians 3:12

Happy 5th of July! I hope you all had a great weekend. For those of you residing in the States, I pray you had a beautiful Fourth of July. For those outsides of the states, I pray you had a beautiful weekend.

The word freedom is something we touched on last week on Friday. The Freedom Christ gave us is unparalleled to any power on earth. We are Children of God, heirs to the Kingdom.

As an heir, we have the right to His same inheritance. We live knowing we have direct communication to God. We don’t have to channel our prayers in any special way. We can simply have an open conversation with Him.

That is something so precious, and I pray we never take it for granted.

So I encourage you to speak with Him. Take 5 more minutes after this episode and talk to your father. With the confidence given to us.

Ask Him for the things you are praying for this week. He knows what you need, trust Him enough to share them with Him.

PRAYER

Father God, we thank you for sending your son. It is through our faith in Him that we have this open line of communication to you. It is through Him that we are all heirs to the kingdom. It is through Him that we can have clear conversations with you, not only to give you our thanks but also to present our needs. Father, I know that you know them, but we ask for the strength to vocalize them rather than internalizing them. We ask for your help in the things we battle. We love you. We pray for the week ahead! It is in your Holy Name we pray, AMEN!
