Episode 288

TODAY’S READING:

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Romans 12:9

Cling to what is good—a reminder for this beautiful Wednesday morning. Let us cling to the promise of our Lord.

Let us remember that he is our shield, our fortress, our light.

Pastor Rich said, “You learn more about God in the valleys than you do on the mountaintops,” and I really felt that one.

It was in my lowest of days learning how to navigate the reality that I saw God work wonders in my heart. He loved me back together, and we are still on that journey together today.

My relationship with my sisters, my mother, my boyfriend changes daily. It is ever-evolving. It paints a picture of my relationship with God, ever-evolving.

That’s the beautiful part. He shows us greater depths of His love every day. We learn new goodness every day. It is a gift and one I want to hold onto today.

PRAYER

Jesus, thank you for your sincere love. Thank you for allowing us to discover more of you each and every day. We ask that you protect us from evil. We ask that we cling to what is good. Let us look for your fingerprints in a smile, in the way the light shines through a window, in a stranger at the grocery store. Let us feel your love in our life. Change us from the inside out. We love you with everything in us, AMEN.
