TODAY’S READING:

2 LORD my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me.

Psalm 30:2

 

I love the Psalms. They are among my favorite takeaways—perfect nuggets of wisdom to apply to your day.

 

I will keep this one short and sweet, but I know we all have something that needs healing. I know because most of us are lugging around some old wounds. Our baggage is heavy. Our hearts are weighed down.

 

All we need to do is call to Him for help, and He will heal us.   

 

I know He can do it. I know He will do it.

 

So surrender that area of your life today. Locate the painful wounds, locate the emotions, locate the fear, locate the memories. Bring them to light as ask God for help. I promise you He will heal you. 

 

PRAYER

Father God, thank you for yet another wonderful weekend ahead of us. We thank you for the love you show us. We thank you for being someone we can count on. Today, we are asking you for help. We surrender our painful memories, baggage, and fears to you. You know exactly what we are battling, and we are praying that you heal us. Deliver us from what binds us. Thank you for watching over us today. We love you with everything in us. AMEN.
