Episode 296
TODAY’S READING:
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
James 1:2
A few weeks my Pastor said, “Everyone wants miracles, but no one wants problems,” and I think it was a wonderful reminder for us all to hold onto when facing new challenges.
Monday comes with its fair share of challenges.
It’s a new week, new opportunities, fresh new starts, but in it all, there are also new problems.
Sometimes we face bigger trials than others, but let this verse be a reminder to you; when you face trials, consider it pure joy. Trials are when God shows off. The problem is when God does the miraculous. Testimonies are birthed in problems. So embrace them this week as they come up.
PRAYER
Father God, thank you for doing work in us every day. Thank you for doing the miraculous even in our trials. Lord, as we prepare for the week ahead, we know in this life we will have trouble and heartache, and we know there may be blessing ahead of us, and there may be some unexpected problems, but Lord, we are gear to embrace them both with so much joy. We know testimonies are birthed from trials. It is in your son’s holy name that we ask you to protect us. Amen!
