Episode 300

TODAY’S READING:

8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Ephesians 2:8

Grace upon grace upon grace! Thank you, Jesus, for 300 prayers together. Thank you for 290 thousand prayers together. Thank you for the hopes and the wishes, and the dreams. Thank you for wiping the tears, comforting the broken hearts, and walking with the lonely.

Together as a community, we have had thousands of prayers. All of us bringing a new thing to our feet every single day, and yet you hear us all. How are you so big, and so great, yet so small and so personal.

Three hundred episodes and we are just getting started.

Friends, today is a reminder that God takes broken, unqualified people, and He uses them for His glory. Nothing about this podcast is for me; it is all for Him. I am no one special. I don’t know what doubts cloud your mind but let me remind you that it is because of God’s grace that we get to live our lives of freedom, purpose, and love.

So much so that I wanted to remind you again and again that it is because of Grace and Grace alone. We don’t have to be perfect for Him to use us.

Titus 2:11 says, “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.” Romans 11:6 says, “ And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace.”

Acts 15:11 “11 No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Hebrews 4:16

Approach his throne with confidence. It is because of grace that we can do so. Thank you, Jesus, use us today.

PRAYER

Father God, thank you! Thank you for using us. We are broken people, far from perfection, just trying our best every day. Some days we fall, and other days, we fall even further. We know that nothing we can do can amount to perfection, but we also know that nothing can separate you from us. We ask that you use us today. We love you with everything in us, AMEN!
