Episode 302

TODAY’S READING:

that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.

John 5:23

Loving our creator is easy. What’s not to love about him? When you look outside, you see the skies and the stars and the trees. You see the ocean or the rivers, and you can’t help but fall in love with God.

Most people do love their creator, but not everyone loves Jesus. Don’t get me wrong, I love, honor, and respect anyone who doesn’t think like me or believe like me. But today’s Devo is for those who do.

We have a personal relationship with The Son. We know Jesus, we know His story, we know how it impacted history. We know why he came, and we know that he sacrificed his life for us. We know that he taught valuable lessons, and he pointed us in the right direction.

My prayer is that we never take his teachings for granted. Lean on his voice; it sounds like stillness. It is the leader in your life. It enlightens your divisions and comforts you. Remember that our best friend in this life is the Holy Spirit that resides.

Our faith lays in something much greater, and we are lucky to live in such grace.

PRAYER

Thank you, Father. Thank you for your love and your grace. Thank you for your son. We honor him today. Jesus, we love you, we thank you for what you did, and we thank you for the personal relationship we have with you. We ask that you watch over us today. Watch over those we love. It is in your Holy Name that we pray, AMEN!
