Episode 310

TODAY’S READING:

3 ‘Call to me, and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Jeremiah 33:3

 

By nature, we think we know it all. We have all the answers; we know what makes us tick and why we do the things we do.

 

But the truth is, we can barely scratch the surface.

 

This life is about uncovering and discovering every day. Each day we can grow closer to being like Jesus. We can learn with every passing moment. We can always get better.

 

That knowledge, though, doesn’t come from self-discovery. It comes from allowing the Holy Spirit to show us, to open our eyes, to speak to the very depths of our soul. There is so much inside us that we do not know, we can ask God to pull it out of us, and He will.

 

He will teach us, guide us, shape us, mold us, only if we let Him. 

 

PRAYER

Father God, every day, we want to go deeper, Lord. We want to learn more; we want the unsearchable things we do not know. We want you to speak into our hearts; we want you to pull the unknown out of us. Let us go deeper each day. Today we ask for more. Teach us about our situations, open our eyes for us to see the world as you do. We love you; we ask that you bless this day. It is in your son’s Holy name that we pray, AMEN!
