Episode 316

TODAY’S READING:

If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides so that in all things, God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

1 Peter 4:11

In all things, He should be praised. What we say and what we do, and who we do it for. Those are the things we should be holding onto each morning.

Today is a Monday; we have a new week in front of us. New opportunities to praise Jesus through the things we do. New ways to serve the people in our lives.

We serve by lending our time, our talent, our treasure. We serve by helping another, by helping a stranger. We have the choice to open our eyes today to all the possibilities around us. All the people God has placed in our paths.

So if it’s your co-worker on a zoom call or your friend in the Hospital, chose to do something today that will serve that person, all while giving Jesus the glory.

PRAYER

Jesus, we love you. To you be all the glory and the power forever and ever. We stand with you, and we ask that you point us in the right direction this week. Let us lean on you and serve your people. Today we will hold onto what we say and what we do, and who we do it for. All for you! We thank you for the week ahead of us; it is in your holy name that we pray, AMEN!
