Episode 321

TODAY’S READING:

“This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself,

Isaiah 44:24

He made you; He created you; he knows you.

He knows the path He has you on. He knows the pain in your heart and the hope in your eyes. He knows the love you share with others; He has felt your cries and shared your laughs. He stretched the heavens; He spread the earth.

Mondays are notorious for being the “back to work” days and, as of recent, back to school as well. I always want to remind myself of His place in my life as I begin a new week or a new season. It’s a good way to adjust your inner compass. Like a phone that needs to be recharged, it is vital to us to readjust our true North Star at the start of the week.

This way, when you face certain things as they arise this week, you can remember, He who stretched the heavens and spread the weather is my redeemer. He formed me in the womb. He knows my heart; He guides my steps; he is my North Star.

PRAYER

Lord. Let us lean on you this week. Let us point ourselves right back to you. We ask that you watch over us and guide us to new heights. Point our steps, move us, nudge us. We surrender what binds us today. Lord, allow us to grow deeper with you. We love you with everything in us, AMEN!
