TODAY’S READING:

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Psalm 16:11

 

The path of life. So complicated. Ever-changing, always altering our vision for the future.

 

There are days when I don’t know what will lie ahead of me. Days that seem long and the future seems unorganized.

 

I remember that in times like these, the best thing I could do was turn to God and ask Him to fill me with purpose. I ask Him to fill me with joy. I feel like we can become so lost, looking searching, hunting down the greatest career, build the best business, grow the largest family, but a lot of the time, we stop and look around and can still feel empty.

 

Maybe if we would take more time throughout the day to remind ourselves that the true path of life is a path that honors Him, we won’t feel so empty when we get to the finish line.

 

Our goal today and every day, for that matter, is to speak to God. One on one, as many times throughout the day as possible. Yes, this podcast is great, and I am so thankful for this community, but I encourage you to continue the open conversation with Him.

 

You’ll be so surprised in the different directions He is interested in pulling you towards. 

 

PRAYER

Father God, we thank you for this beautiful Wednesday. We thank you for the opportunity to get just 5 minutes alone with you. Lord, today we ask for help in steering the path in front of us. Remind us of what is truly important in this life. Remind us of the blessings we have. We thank you for blessing us with another day. It is in your Holy Name that we pray, AMEN!
