Episode 345
TODAY’S READING:
15 She went away and did as Elijah had told her. So there was food every day for Elijah and the woman and her family. 16 For the jar of flour was not used up, and the jug of oil did not run dry, in keeping with the word of the Lord spoken by Elijah.
1 Kings 17:15-16
Yesterday we ranked number 23 on the top charts on Spotify, and I thought about how sometimes God asks us if we could give our jar of flour and jug of oil to Him. It’s scary, but it’s our job to trust Him with the little we have and watch how he never allows us to go hungry.
All I had was a pair of headphones, a mic, and a computer. God gave me clear instructions. 5 minutes every day. Do you trust me with your mic and your computer?
God is looking at what you have, and He is asking you to make him some bread. It may not seem like you can give, but when you provide the little you want, He comes back to bless you.
There are nights when I don’t know what to write, but every night God provides me with a devotional. My jar of flour and my jug of oil never run dry. Let this podcast serve as a testimony to His promise. Give Him the little you have, and watch Him bless you tenfold.
PRAYER
Father God, thank you for a beautiful week. Thank you, Lord, for watching over us. God, this weekend, we look at the little that we have, and we give it to you. We find the time to give you an hour of our weekend for church, we look at the little patience we have, and we give it to you. We look at the little joys we find, and we give them to know. Lord, we know that you will bless them tenfold all because we gave it to you. We love you with everything in us, AMEN!
