Episode 351

TODAY’S READING:

For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Romans 11:36

Praying for Alexa and Emely as they take their board exams to become Occupational Therapists!

Yesterday was 5 years since I got baptized. I plunged underwater and came out a different person.

I got to celebrate yesterday that 5 years ago I said yes to the best decision of my life. I got to declare with bold faith that through Him and for Him, I do all things.

This Monday is no different – it might not be an anniversary or a holiday or any special day of the year, but I get to go to work and lead a team of 6 Account Managers. I get to answer emails and figure out any last-minute to-dos from the business. I get to reach out to friends to schedule coffee dates. Nothing sounds super holy or spectacular, but that’s what makes it glorious.

It is because of my commitment to Jesus that I get to do normal things, tedious things, things I want to, and somethings things I don’t want to but have to. I get to do all of these things for Him. So that when I lead my team, they see His grace and joy. When I cross to-do’s from my list, it reminds me of seasons in which I was faithful to His promise, that no matter what would happen to my business, He would take care of me.

Guys, today is Monday. It might not be your favorite day of the week. But remember that for him, and through him, and for him are all things. So tackle your day with grace in your heart and Jesus at your feet. Remind yourself that you have breath in your lungs and food in your bellies, and today is a blessing—no matter if we are fighting for the health, or financial breakthrough, or healing in marriage. Today is a good day because it is from, through, and for Him that we get to wake up and do life the right way.

PRAYER

Glory to you, Jesus. Glory to you that we have awakened this morning. Glory to you for our bodies, for our minds, for our homes, for our communities. Glory to you that what we face has already been won. I ask that you bless marriages, provide a financial breakthrough, and heal broken bodies. What we do today matters, and we pray to remind ourselves that from you, through you, and to you are all things. You deserve the glory. It is in your precious and holy name that we pray, AMEN!
