TODAY’S READING:

Through him, all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made.

John 1:3

 

Have you ever stopped to think about this very thought? Nothing is a surprise to God, there is no animal, no insect, no star that stops God and makes him say the words, what is that?

 

He knows it all. He made it all. God can be found in the smallest of details and the largest of miracles. He can be found in the stars and the moon and our neighbors and our friends.

 

The Lord is an artist and a caring soul. He hears us, and yet He still blesses us.

 

Guys, today, let us not take for granted this world that He has given us. Let’s go for a walk, and let’s lookup. Put away the phone, and pay attention to the birds chirping and the wind dancing.

 

May you feel the peace of creation deep within your soul.

 

PRAYER

Lord, today we want to connect to you. Let us go deeper. Let us look closely at the things you create. Let us see the branches and count the endless colors on their leaves. Let us see creation for what you see it. Let us remember that if we can point out the beauty in the leaves, birds, and waves, may we never forget the beauty we find deep within ourselves.
