Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,
Hebrews 12:28
Day 6 of The Attitude of gratitude series, I wanted to be thankful for the Kingdom that supports us every day.
It’s been a few weeks, and I have not stopped listening to this Bethel song; it’s called “Reason To Praise,” and it has changed my life in this season.
This year was so rough for me. So exciting in many instances, a little scary, and a little hard. First and foremost, taking that leap of faith in April to launch my dream business was such an exciting time. What I love about this podcast is that we’ve all grown over time, and you can literally go back to the episodes that aired in April and May, and you can hear the excitement on my voice.
Then you can go into the end of August, and you’ll hear the heartbreak as my bakery did not work out.
This time of season reminds me that no matter what I face, the highs of April or the lows of August, I still have a reason to praise.
If I have learned anything this year, it’s that God’s Kingdom cannot be shaken. His promise is the same in the mountain top and in the valley.
Through Christ, we get access to this unshakeable Kingdom. We get the opportunity to allow the spirit to lead us. We meet mountains, and God goes before us, and He moves them. We can be utterly blessed or terribly scarred, and Christ doesn’t change. We have a strong and powerful God. A loving father, a faithful friend.
Let us count our blessings, even if the only one that comes to mind is that today you woke up and have breath in your lungs.
PRAYER
Father God, we thank you for your Kingdom that cannot be shaken. Lord, we love you. We honor you; we give you everything. There is no one like you, and for that, we are eternally yours. We are sorry for all the times we complained when you’ve always had us protected. We thank you for blessing the way as you always do. It is in your holy name that we pray, AMEN!
