Episode 388
TODAY’S READING:
15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
Ephesians 1:15-16
Today I wanted to give thanks to our brothers and our sisters of faith. We don’t know each other personally, but it makes life a little better knowing there is this capital C church in all places of the world who love and honor our father.
This verse comes from a letter written by Paul, talking to a group of people. It reminds me of the honor it is to pray over other believers. So today, my prayer is for you.
I know some of you by name; I haven’t met many of you, but yet I pray for you. I pray for my brothers and my sisters in faith.
Something has you up a night, and I declare it’s been taken care of. Something has you worried; I pray that worry is silenced in the name of Jesus. Something has you full of joy, and for that, I celebrate with you.
In this season of gratitude, I am most thankful for people who share my faith. Like I mentioned earlier, it makes knowing Jesus that much better. Because when others have a testimony, it proves it was never about me and my story, but about Him and His.
I thank Him for the work He is doing in each of our lives.
PRAYER
Father God, you are faithful to us all. Thank you for joining us in this community. Thank you for giving us a safe place to share our faith. Lord, the person on the other side of the screen, they need you today. They need you every day. Lord, I need you today; I need you every day. I don’t know what they need, and Lord, they may not know what I need, but through prayer, we multiply faith, and that’s all you ask for because we know that the rest is in your hands. So Lord, move on our behalf. Move-in our lives. I am declaring the worry be silenced; I am praying for the miracle; I am praying for the multitude of blessings. It is in your Holy name that we pray, AMEN!
