Episode 408

TODAY’S READING:

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

 

Only a few short days away from our Christmas! As we get closer and closer to the birth of Christ, we get further and further from our routines. Today might be your last day at the office for this week. Maybe your last day is Thursday; maybe you are working through this Christmas week. Whatever the case, my hope is simple; I pray we all see Jesus at work in our lives.

 

When things get busy, I try and look for Christ, but the world seems so loud, it’s hard to hear him. It’s hard to see him. I guess that’s where our faith kicks into overdrive, like night-vision goggles, ready to assist us when we can’t seem to see.

 

He is the way, the truth, and the life. Even in my good days and even on my bad days, if I remember to ask Jesus for help, I know all things are possible.

 

So today, I hold onto my lifelong a little tighter. I remember what this season is about, and I celebrate the birth of a baby boy who saved the world from itself.

 

PRAYER

Jesus, we celebrate you this week and every week. But especially this week. Your birthday is upon us, and I am so honored to be doing life with you at the center. Lord, even when I don’t see you or feel you, I know you are there. I know that you are my eyes, you are my hands, you are my heart, so help me do something with them. We love you and pray in your mighty name, AMEN!
