Episode 412

TODAY’S READING:

“11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. 12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

 Ephesians 6:11-12

There are days that we don’t have the words, and as I mentioned, it was a rough day. And I was showering towards the end of my day, and I just looked up, and I said, what words to have for me today? I don’t have the words, and sometimes that’s just the reality for a lot of us. Sometimes we are the ones that are walking through valleys when it seems like everybody else is on the mountain top.

There are some days where we don’t have the words. We don’t have the faith. But this first is one of my favorites because it’s a good reminder that there are strategies at play. And they’re not always strategic for us. So we’re not always the ones playing the game. There is a very evil spirit that wants us to lose, and there are strategies when it comes to his games, and we have to be ready by putting on the full armor of God. And so today, what we need to do is realize that we can’t snap at our loved ones with our anger and our frustration.

We can’t hurt the ones that we love. We have to remember that lashing out in anger and frustration is a waste of time because we are not fighting against flesh and blood. We are fighting against evil rulers in the unseen world. And the unseen world is not our world to play in and fight in that world that is given to Jesus, and he has all of the power there. He sees the unseen. He sees what we don’t see, and he’s fighting on our behalf. So Jesus, today we give you Silvio’s cancer.

Today we give you my father; we give you the people who are addicted. We give you the families that are suffering from that as well. We give you everybody under the sound of my voice who is affected by cancer by sickness in their bodies or minds. Lord, we are all suffering from something, some of us more than others. And some of us aren’t maybe suffering at all, but we know someone who is to Lord today we give that all to you.

We remember that in this life. We’re not fighting against flesh and blood. We are not attacking or hurting those that we love. We are taking a step back, and we’re looking at the strategies of the evil one and how he plays those against us, and we put on the full armor of God and protect ourselves against such things.

Prayer

Jesus, we love you. We look for you in all things, and we remember when things go sideways that you are in charge. We remember that we are not fighting our family. We’re not fighting our friends, but we are fighting evil in heavenly places. So this is your fight. This isn’t flesh and blood. This is unseen evils, and you Lord, You’re the king of the unseen. You see it all. You are handling our battles for us. Lord, we give it all to you. We pray that Sylvia is healed from the inside out. We pray that anybody under the sound of my voice, dealing with sickness, addiction, anything of the above, is healed from the inside out, for we give them all to you. The Good, the Bad, the happy, and the sad. It’s all for you. It’s all for your glory. So Lord, Today we ask that you bless this day; we ask that you protect us as we finish this year strong. And we ask that you protect us as we go into the year 2022. We love you so much. And we pray this all in your holy name. Amen.
