Episode 425

TODAY’S READING:

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in you.

Isaiah 26:3

Happy Friday!! I hope you guys have a wonderful upcoming weekend!

Today my father is starting his 18-month program, and I believe in radical transformation. I believe the Gad has it. I have so much peace about it.

So I wanted to extend that peace. Through our relationship with Christ, through His sacrifice, we get to live in perfect peace. Let us keep our minds steadfast on His ways. Let us be firm and sure in our faith. Let us always see Him for what He is, first and foremost our Saviour and, beyond that, a friend.

We trust Him. I think that’s such a beautiful trait to have in a relationship. Like I mentioned yesterday, I had an all-day event at work. 9-4 on a zoom call, and we did different trust-building exercises. It showed the value of building trust within the workplace. How much more vital is that in our relationship with Christ?

When our faith seems to be small, just remind yourself that you trust in Him. Maybe make it your screen saver, maybe leave yourself a note on the bathroom mirror. I trust in the Lord.

My pastor, Pastor Mary, loves to say, “Either He’s God, or He’s not.” Simply put, won’t He do it. He is God. He is almighty. He is sovereign. He’s got us all in the palm of His hand.

PRAYER

Jesus, we trust you. Lord, you are sovereign. You reign in our souls, over the earth. You have us in the palm of your hands. You shower us in peace, and all we have to do in return is keep our minds, eyes, ears on you. May we look for you, may we think and read about you, may we listen for you. We put our full trust in you. We know that you are God; therefore, we know that you are battling it all. We love you, and it is in your Holy name that we pray, AMEN!
