TODAY’S READING:

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 43:19

 

He is making way for us. Don’t we perceive it? Don’t we see it?

 

There are moments in life where He is working, and we can’t see it. All we see are wildernesses and wastelands.

 

Just close your eyes and picture a wilderness. All of the trees look exactly the same. You wouldn’t know which way was north, southeast, or west. A lot like life at times.

 

But God is making a path for us.

 

My prayer today is to look at my life and to look at the paths He has and is continuously making for me.

 

I pray He opens my eyes so that I can see all that he is doing in my life. So that I can see the new thing. The righteous thing.

 

I hope our prayers are all the same. Lord, open our eyes. Show us the paths and the streams you’ve created for us.

 

PRAYER

Lord, we love you. We thank you for the paths and the streams you create. Lord, we want to see them. Sometimes we can get a little lost in our ways, and we don’t know how to break the loop we are on. Lord, show us the path that you’ve created. We love you with everything in us; it is in your Holy Name that we pray, AMEN.
