Episode 429
TODAY’S READING:
The LORD bless you and keep you; 25 the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace.
Numbers 6:24-26
It’s a beautiful, beautiful blessing to say to one another, and it’s one that I wanted to say to you today. May He bless you and keep you. May he make his face shine on you and be gracious to you. May he turn his face toward you and give you peace. When I read those words and, and I read the gravity of them. It’s just a beautiful way to tell someone that you wish them nothing but the best, the absolute best in this world. And I hope that you have beautiful days blessed days. I hope that this year is a blessing in itself.
I hope that we all get our dreams this year. I hope they all come true. And I hope that we see him and everything that we do. It’s really short and sweet, and there isn’t a lot to it. It’s a beautiful, to-the-point devotional.
May He bless us and keep us. May he make his face shine on us and be gracious to us that were gracious is so meaningful. And then beyond that, we’re looking at him turning his face towards us and giving us peace. And we’ve talked about peace on here many times, but it’s such a powerful, powerful emotion.
Just the overcoming an overwhelming sense of peace knowing that Jesus has everything taken care of knowing that God has us in the palm of his hand. And so today, I just wished that on all of us. I hope that we have beautiful days and a lovely week.
