Episode 433

TODAY’S READING:

What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Romans 8:31

Happy Wednesday!

There is no power on earth that can outdo God. Nothing. There is nothing that can hurt us.

People ask, how is that possible. You don’t understand the pain that I have walked.

I know life is hard. The bible does say we will have trouble. But trouble and momentary pain is not the same thing as eternity in heaven. So when we say, If God is for us, who can be against us? I really mean, there is only one God, and He always promises to fight for us.

I know that in the moment, it feels like you’ll be in pain forever. But in time, you will feel joy. I was driving down the highway reminiscing on my emotions. I was happy, a little bored, and not worried. It felt nice. I’ve been dealing with so much at home that now that things have calmed down, I forgot what it felt like to be at peace.

I attribute this all to Him. He stood by my side through it all, and here I am on the other side of it, and I can give God the glory.

He promises to give us strength to help us through valleys, He promises to give us peace, He promises to give us joy. We have to trust Him. We have to know that there is nothing, no momentary pain, no circumstance greater than He. We find true healing in Him.

PRAYER

Father God, today we lift all who are broken. We give you the anxiety, the worry, the doubt, the depression. Lord, we give you any power that we’ve given more authority than it deserves. We know you are the greatest. We know you are ever-present; you are our lifeline. We love you today and every day, and we ask for your strength today. We pray this all in your mighty name, AMEN!
