Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day…
His glory among the nations and his marvelous deeds among all people.
For great as the Lord and most worthy of the praise he is to be feared above all gods worship the Lord in the splendor of His Holiness tremble before him all the earth. Sounds scary at the end. But the truth is, it just tells us to sing to the Lord. Not just talk and pray but sing, and it’s important to have a vehicle in our vehicle, which is music, worship, putting worship on all the time, having it on, let that be your default. Of what you’re hearing what you’re listening to, rather than Netflix on or having TikTok videos on the background or secular music, put praise on puts you know Christian music on in your project, get our project and get elevation, get the projects that you love the songs that you love that ministered to you.
That affords you the opportunity to sing to the Lord, and you could want I don’t sing I’m a terrible singer.
The Bible also says to make a joyful noise. But when we praise his name, we’re proclaiming His salvation day after day, and I promise you the good news is it fights off depression. It fights off anxiety, it kicks back fear kicks it in the face when you begin to sing praises to the Lord because He gets bigger when we do that, and our circumstance gets smaller.
Father, I just thank you for the opportunity to do what your Word tells us. To do when it comes to praise and worship. It says to enter into your presence at the gates of heaven through Thanksgiving first with gratitude and then with prayer. So, Father, we’re just so grateful or grateful for this moment or grateful for this opportunity. To come before you, I thank you for Allison that she opens up her heart every morning consistently and invites all of us in to pray with her. God, it’s such a simple task, but it carries so much weight. And so Father, we thank you that as we sing and as we praise because your Word tells us to. We know that it opens the windows of heaven, and it pours out blessings into our lives, and it honors, and it blesses you. So I pray for every person that’s listening right now that they would begin to open up their mouth and give praise to you for everything that you’ve done in their lives. Start with thanksgiving, grateful for what you’ve done and who you are. And then with praise, You are the King of all kings in the Lord of all lords. And we give you that honor today in Jesus’s name, Amen.
