Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken, nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the LORD, who has compassion on you.

Isaiah 54:10

 

I have been still in this Easter feeling this love that, you know, Jesus has for us what he did on the cross for us over 2000 years ago, and at the same time, I have a pet kitty. So I was on my phone the other day, and I was looking at all of my pictures, and it was just a picture after picture of my cat. It’s like all I have is pictures of her. And if you remember, that’s the cat that I found on my wall back in October; I don’t have any kids yet, but my friends’ phones are filled with pictures of their kids. And they just got me thinking of the love that we have for those around us our pets, our family members, our kids, and they paint a picture. I wonder if you know God has a phone somewhere with an album of a million pictures of us a, pictures of us while we’re eating when our personality comes out.

 

When we are talking with other people, just a million pictures represent the love that He has for us. And although he probably does not have a physical form with those images, he still feels that burning sensation times 100 because we can never fathom the love that He has for us. But we do see it in the paint in the picture that he painted for us on Easter on that weekend 2000 years ago. And so let us take all that as a reminder that he loves us, you flawed; he loves you the way you are. He loves the personality that you carry. He loves the hobbies that interest you. He sparks the light inside of you. And so we get to choose to live in the light that he gives us. 

 

We get to choose to live in the grace that He shows us, and we get to choose to live in the mercy that he gives. And so today, as we go about our days, let us just remember that we are loved. We are loved beyond what we can ever imagine. And we are lucky to have a relationship with a father that so deeply cares about each and every one of us.

 

Prayer

Father God, we love you so much. And we thank you for this beautiful Tuesday. Lord, thank you for loving us the way you do. We could only imagine that you have a million images of us saved in your heart. Lord, You love us the way we walk, we talk, the way we share our hobbies, the way we share with our friends and our families. And so Lord, we just want to be an image of you, let our personalities shine and your love. Let us extend love to other people. Let us be the people that you have created us to be. Let us not get worked up in the little things but live this life and pure joy the joy you give us. We thank you for what you did on the cross. So many years ago, we continue to honor you today and every day. We ask that you bless this beautiful Tuesday. And it is in your holy name that we pray. Amen.
