Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:8

This weekend was so special. So sweet. A weekend I will never forget. Filled with laughter and a lot of love. I saw the goodness of God this weekend.

I saw my family and friends gather and shower us in love. I had the absolute best weekend.

Political parties didn’t matter, and difference of opinion didn’t matter. It was just a moment of pure admiration.

I would love to believe that if we treated others with that much love every day, we would be in a better place. There would be less stress and less anxiety. Every day should be a day to celebrate. Every day is a gift, and we know his mercies are new every morning.

So whatever has you stressed today, put it away. This day is a gift, this day is a blessing, and this day we will choose to love deeply.

PRAYER

Jesus, thank you for the love you give us. It is the perfect example of the love we can show others. Father, you guide us each day; we know we are victorious. We know that goodness always wins. So, lord, we ask that we love deeply today. May we love others; may we don’t fight on a difference of opinion but celebrate the gift of another day. We love you and ask that you protect us; it is in your Holy name that we pray, AMEN!
