Episode 524
TODAY’S READING:
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
John 15:7
People love to recite this verse and ask if it will be done for you. But we must never look over the first part of this verse. If you remain in me, and my words remain in you.
There is a clause.
We must remain consistent in what we believe. We cannot only come to him when we need something.
We have to be in him, and he in us. That means when we have to stay in Him when things are going great. We can’t ask for a raise, get it and then disappear only to come back a year later when we are up for review. No, we have to stick it out every day.
That is why I am so thankful for this community. You help me stay accountable; that’s why I set out to do this. It’s been two years. I have seen the hand of God in my hand.
My prayer is always the same, protection over me and my now fiance, prosperity in all that he calls me to, and redemption for my family, my father specifically. I am thankful these things have been given to me in this season, and I know it’s because I have made God my priority, and I know the same can be said for each and every one of you under the sign of my voice can say the same. Make Him your priority, and watch how all that you’ve been asking for will be given to you.
PRAYER
Father God, we make you our priority, Lord. We promise to remain in you and your word in us. We lead by your example. We love through your eyes. We extend grace as you will. Lord, it is because we make you a priority that we can watch you protect all that we love. We thank you in advance for watching over our families. We love you today and every day, AMEN!
