Episode 528

TODAY’S READING:
Now you have been pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, LORD, have blessed it, and it will be blessed forever.”
1 Chronicles 17:27

This week I accepted an offer from a new company! I was able to put in my notice yesterday, and I now begin the transition phase. Ensuring the company is ready for a new season, one without me.

I have been praying for a new opportunity for some time now. I have felt very fortunate for the industry I am in, and I prayed throughout the entire process.

I had a few opportunities to knock, but I knew they weren’t the ones for me. This one was different.

I think the timing is not off. I am walking into a new season. Recent homeowner, soon-to-be wife, and it was only fitting that leaving the company I had been with for 5 years was best.

God is always working; he tests you in the waiting, encourages you, and strengthens you. He waits for you to build His house, and He never backs out of a promise.

The Lord will take care of your house. I am a testament to that.

My priority for the last two years has been keeping my prayer life at the front and center. At church, I serve, and with every opportunity I get, I point it all back to Jesus.

I am far from perfect, I take many risks, and I fail. I sometimes hurt those I love the most. I am not perfect, but through my humanity, I promise to always show you, Jesus – because there would be no way I could achieve all that I have without Him.

I encourage us all today. How can we build His house? Can we serve our communities? Our churches? Can we give of our time, talent, and treasure?

Where do you have your trust? I hope today we can confidently say – Him.

PRAYER
Father God, you are so good, Lord. We thank you for blessing our homes, not just for a season, Lord, but forever. We always point it back to you; it is all for you, and the Glory is yours forever. We thank you for watching over us; we thank you for blessing us. It is in your Holy Name that we pray, AMEN!
