TODAY’S READING
But seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
Matthew 6:33

These are very simple instructions, and for whatever reason, it is very hard for some people to follow through. So today’s encouragement is to remind us all that we are to seek first the Kingdom in all things. I know that we all tune in daily. Our numbers are extremely consistent. So I know that there is a large group of us that come in every single day to pray. And I cannot tell you how thankful and honored I am to lead you in prayer. And that is the first step is to pray every single day. But beyond that, we need to allow the Lord to show up in our lives away past just morning prayer. We need to talk to him through all things we need. To ask for His guidance. We need to ask for his opinion because he does peek through people through experiences, and he wants to be a part of your life as much as you want him to be a part of your life. He is there; he is asking us to first seek His Kingdom and His righteousness, and then all of these things will be added to us. And we know that his Kingdom and his righteousness. Those are the simple, very simple rules that we find in the Bible, and that is to love thy neighbor as you love thyself that is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. That is to teach others to have a testimony that he hasn’t worked inside of you. And it is to always point our praises back to the Lord; we are to worship one God and one God only.

And today’s day and age, there are little mini Gods everywhere. Our cell phones, social media, news outlets, anything, and everything could be a mini or a lowercase g God in our life, and so we just must first seek the Kingdom of capital G God, the only creator in heaven. If we first seek him, if we first tell the world about him, if we first see him in our life, if we first allow him to work in our lives, then we will see how the blessings will continue to be added to us. That is, it’s very simple. Step one is to seek, and step two is all of the other things that you’ve always wanted and pray for the blessings that you have been begging for.

Those things will be added to you because it’s a result of seeking first the Kingdom. So spread His love with everyone you meet. Show them all the testimony and the work that he’s done in your life, and continue to point your praises back to God.

Prayer:
Father, Lord, we love you. We love you so much, or we point our praises to you day in and day out. It is because of you that we have all of the things in our lives, the roof over our heads, and the food in our bellies. They are all things to you. We adore you, and we thank you for being a blessing in our life. Or we are going to seek your Kingdom; first, we are going to tell others about your love and about our testimony. We are going to love thy neighbor like we love ourselves, and we’re going to be good Christians and following your word and being obedient to Your World word of being the hands and feet of Your Son Jesus. When all of these things are done, we know that you will continue to add bless into our lives, and we don’t do it for the blessing Lord. We do it because we know that life with you is better than anything else on this planet. So we thank you, and we ask that you bless this beautiful Wednesday. It is in your holy name that we pray.
