Episode 569

TODAY’S READING

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

James 1:27

There are true powers of evil constantly trying to remove us from the righteousness of God, and we talked about that earlier this week as we looked at temptation and stain pure from that. But beyond that, we need to be very careful that we’re not starting to look like this world. We’re not starting to think like this world. And we’re not starting to act like this world. We are not from here; we are just citizens from heaven that came to this earth that the Lord has, has us here in this moment. And in this flicker of time.

When you look at time as a whole, you look at generation after generation. We’re just here about for a moment, yet at that moment. We have so much work to do. We have families that we get to pour into, whether that means that we get married or not, whether that means that we have children or not. What it does mean is we have people to look after in our homes. We have a mission to spread the love of Jesus to everyone we meet. We have a mission to care for His people, His widows, orphans of families that need our help single moms that need our help. A lot of things change Kancil culture is big. The media always sways one way and not the other. All of that is a power, a part of the world that is part of the pollution of this world. And that’s because this world is not our forever place.

This is now our forever home. Eternity with our father is, and So may we stay pure from being polluted. May we say pure in our intentions to not only follow Christ but to share his love for others.

Prayer:

Father God, I thank you for a beautiful Thursday, Lord; thank you for the opportunity to meet with 1000s of others under the sound of this voice and to continue to pray and put you first in our lives. Lord, we ask a simple prayer for today. May we not be polluted by this world? This world we understand is not ours forever home. We know that eternity with you is and what we do here matters. The families that we build and we pour into that matter. The people that we impact. It matters our testimony matters because through our testimony; others get to meet you, Lord; we know that we play a small part in the bigger mission. And Lord, we just asked for the opportunity to continue to do our part. Continue to send us, continue to open those conversations for us, and Lord, keep us pure from being polluted by this world. We love you. We thank you, and it is in your son’s mighty mean that we pray for this beautiful Thursday. Amen.
