But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

It is officially Pumpkin Spice Latte season. But what I wanted to focus on was rearranging the PSL to stand for praise, surrender, and love. So that every single time autumn comes around, we as a community will remember PSL season as praise, surrender, and love. And so today we’re going to talk about brave tomorrow surrender, and then on Thursday, we’ll talk about love. And on Friday, we are going to close out this little mini-series, and hopefully, as a community, forever and ever, PSL will always be praised around your love. So today, we already know First Corinthians chapter 15, verse 57, and it says, But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And what I wanted to focus on here is the idea of praise. 

It’s the idea of being thankful. But thanks be to God. We are thankful because God is good. God loves us. God sent his fun for us. And it was through Jesus Christ that the victory was won. And so every time you have something challenging in your life, every time you go through a season of Valley anything that requires strength, we know that Jesus already won the victory for us. And so we get to be thankful, and we are able to live a life that is praiseworthy. We have gratitude because of the things that we have in our lives. And it’s always a good reminder to praise God. Just praise Him for everything that you have. So, after we’re done with today’s evil, I encourage you to continue our worship session in your car if you’re at work or getting ready for the day ahead of you. Go on to Spotify. If you’re an Apple Music, go on to Apple Music and put on your favorite worship band or group, and continue to praise God for everything. Just take five extra minutes this morning and be thankful that you have everything and that he’s continuing to make a way when there is no way.

Prayer:

Father God, Lord, we are so thankful for you. We are thankful for everything in our lives. We know that this is the season of being grateful; we understand that every single thing that we look to is because of you. We thank you for the food in our bellies, the roof over our heads, the relationships in our lives, and the financial blessings you continue to pour over us. We thank you for the ability to have a conversation and communication with you. Lord, we thank You that You are right there, God, you are closer than our very breath, and we get to lean on you through it all. We thank you for your strength. And thank you for your wisdom. We thank You that You are the greatest and the most precious relationship in our life. We ask that you bless us this Tuesday and that you bless us through this PSL season. May we always remember it as praise, surrender, and love, three things we get to do because we love you. We ask that you bless us on this day. We pray this all in your son’s Mighty Name, Amen.
