TODAY’S READING

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Romans 5:1

Everywhere we look at our day to day, we can get caught up in the little things that happen, the traffic that builds up, the person that cut you off, the way that your employer spoke to you, what happened in your finances, something can happen, and we can fixate on that, or we can choose to see God’s fingerprints through it all. And we can see how there is something good in absolutely everything that happens when we are receptive to looking at the goodness of God in all areas and all aspects of our lives. We get to squish the stronghold of being closed off for love because we put up that wall in retaliation and protection of our hearts.

We take the control back, and we protect ourselves by putting up these walls. But in return, all that happens is that we build a distance between us and our faith. And then that builds distance between us and peace us and hope us and love. And so today, I wanted to focus on this devotion that says, Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus. Christ. And I just wanted to sit there for a moment and say, Thank You, Jesus, thank you, God, for what you did for us. And we’re gonna pray in a moment but start to put yourself in a posture of gratitude towards our Lord because through him we have been justified through faith. We are justified, and we are justified to love or justified to receive love. We are justified to feel love. We are justified to seek goodness when others don’t. We are justified to look for his fingerprints are justified for a lot, and that is all because of Jesus. And so if you are a person who is closed off to love in general, if you are someone who is closed off to not just love from another beloved from your Heavenly

Father, I beg you that this is a new week, and then you have the power to cut that stronghold today. You have the power to tear down those walls and to let people come and let people pray over you and let people listen to your story. Let people help you in this walk, and God is there with you. He wants to be right there with you. He wants you to lean on Him, and He wants you to tear down those walls if you don’t have the strength to do so. Give it to him, and he’ll do it for you.

Prayer:

Father God, we thank you, Lord, for this beautiful Monday. God, thank you for your son, Jesus. Thank you for everything that you do for us on a day-to-day basis. We thank you for the love that he shares with us. We thank you for all of the love that you give us, God, and we are sorry that, at times, we are closed off; we are sorry for all of the walls that we have built walls that have distanced not just us from you but us from others and God, we know that you’ve built us for the community we know that you built us to receive Endless Love. We thank you in advance; we ask you for the strength to tear down those walls; we ask you for the strength to continue to grow deeper in your relationship with you and deeper in your relationship with others. We love you we adore you. We pray this on your son’s Mighty Name, Amen.
