But in your hearts, honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.

1 Peter 3:15

I love this verse because it speaks volumes about living a godly and holy life and allowing that to resonate in the lives of others. The whole aspect of being the reason that someone asks about God and the importance of living a holy life resonates with this one. It’s what you do on a day-to-day basis. It’s when you open a door for someone; it’s when you’re truly joyful, when you’re positive when things don’t look like they’re panning out. It’s when you’re there to support others when nobody’s there to support them and going above and beyond to serve serving at your church. Serving your family and serving with your friends and then showing them what it means to be the light of Christ. 

I’ve been diving into my career and have been serving a lot at church, and I try to do everything I can with the most positive attitude possible. And I know, in some instances can get pretty annoying, but we’re so blessed to just be able to wake up every single day and have a heartbeat and be able to live and live the life more abundantly because of Jesus Christ, and I’ve outright been asked to Hey, what church do you go to or how much coffee do you drink in the morning? And that’s what it means. It means to live a life that is honorable to Christ so people can see Christ within you and you can’t. I can’t even mention how many people have been brought closer to Christ because of that simple action of just being a person that lives a holy and joyful life. And it through gentleness and respect. You can be the light that others may be looking for in themselves.

God, please bless every single person that’s listening to this podcast more abundantly. Allow them to see your light that they can’t see in themselves, Father God; we know that each and every single one of us was put on this earth for a purpose. And each and every single day is a blessing to show everyone what it means to walk your path. God, thank you for providing for each one of the people listening to this podcast.
