12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
Colossians 1:12

What I love about this is that we are giving joyful things. It’s not just thank you; it’s not just an acknowledgment; it is a joyful thing. We are excited for the gratitude we can share with God because we are qualified to inherit the kingdom of light. If you think about that, you weigh that it is incredible that we have that opportunity. We have been qualified; the keyword qualification means that you meet the criteria to get said things. So, in this case, we have met the criteria to inherit the kingdom of life. That’s right there. There’s nothing that we could have done to have met such criteria. We know that the criteria was met because Christ bore our sins for us on our behalf. So yes, we have joyful things to the Father because his son, our best friend in this world, is the only reason we are qualified to share an inheritance of the kingdom of light of the kingdom of God. So today, think about that. Think about what Christ did for you and think about how you only meet the criteria because of what God did. And then give him joyful things with a joyful heart.

We say Thank You, Lord. Thank you for what you did. Thank you that I get to inherit the kingdom of light. Thank you that I have a father who fights on my behalf for a relationship with God or a relationship with my Creator. A deep relationship with the one who not only knows the number of hairs on my head but the place that my heart is in. He knows what I’m going through, what I need, and what I’ve been asking for, and it is because of Christ that we get to inherit eternally with such an amazing Creator, our Father in heaven. With a joyful heart, we say thank you.

Prayer:
Father God, we love you, Lord, we love you. We love your son Jesus and for what he did for us. God, we know that it is only because of his axe that we have been qualified to share in the inheritance of your holy people. We are able to inherit the kingdom of light because of a price did she is the only reason why we meet the criteria of the kingdom of light. To God, we just say thank you, Lord; we say thank you for what you did. We thank you for sending your son for us, Jesus; we thank you for what you did for us. We love you, Lord, and we ask that you continue to bless us. We ask that you continue to watch over us and God, we bring to you Betty, who is aging Lord, and we are just praying that she is no longer depressed, confused, or anxious God, we pray that she is in your perfect hands that she can feel your peace and your wisdom in this time that we pray for Sharon, her family as they walk through this season. And the replay from Juliana, and as she continues her season of walking into college, walking into new programs as she continues to fight to become a teacher, Lord, you put that in six in her heart, so we pray for her as well. Or we thank you for a beautiful blossoming community of people of all ages. We ask that you continue to bless us all; you know the needs of the person on the other side.
