TODAY’S READING

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,

Hebrews 12:28

We have been looking at the things that we should be thankful for. We have been thankful because he’s a good gift-giver. We have been thankful because we have the spirit. And so today, we are talking about what we have received, and that is a kingdom that cannot be shaken. And when I think about that, I think about an army we have fighting on our behalf in a run that we cannot see. Everywhere we go, we have the angels of the Lord surrounding us. Everywhere we go, Jesus is fighting on our behalf. And it is something that we cannot fathom because it’s hard to see something or to believe in something that we cannot see. But that is the essence of faith. The whole part of the things that we cannot see. And we have faith that God is there for us every single day. He has given us a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

He is fighting on our behalf. He goes to war for us. He goes, and he fights for our minds. He fights for our habits. He fights for our lives. He wants us in a church; he wants us in a community; he wants us speaking only about life over our situations. He wants us to feel the joy of the Lord. He wants us to live righteous lives. To live in the right standing. And so he has given us that, and it is our job to just walk in it, to just live in it, to bask in the kingdom that cannot be shaken. So let us be thankful that is worship God with reverence, and all, let us say Thank You, Lord. For everything that you do in our lives. It does not go unnoticed. It does not go on wanted. We absolutely need him in our day-to-day and so today. We put him first today; we say thank you, Lord; today, we worship you with and with reverence because we know that you are the head of our lives.

Prayer:

God, we thank You, Lord, for this beautiful Monday. And thank you for the ability to grow deeper in our relationship with you, though we don’t take your relationship with us for granted. We know that we need you on a day to day we know that you’re there for us. We know that you’re closer than our very breath. I know that you’re fighting on our behalf. You’re looking after our minds. You’re looking after our habits. We’re looking after our families, and God, we couldn’t think of Florida at this time; we ask that you bless Danielle and her husband, Lord, as they continue to have their issues at work. We know that you’re in their lives working on their behalf study you are moving. God, we thank you for everything and all of our names that we bring up to your attention. God, we know that you see us as we reach out for the community as we reach out for prayer, and we know that you are there, making those prayers come true. So I love you. We love you. We thank you. We ask that this is a great Thanksgiving. It isn’t your holy name that we pray. Amen.
