TODAY’S READING

9 For what you have done, I will always praise you in the presence of your faithful people. And I will hope in your name, for your name is good.

Psalms 52:9

God is good. His name is good. His deeds are good. He is a good father, so we can be thankful for everything and everything he has. We can be thankful for everything he is and everything he has brought us through. Take a moment to think about the last year. Think about where you were this month last year. Think about December 2021. Think about January. What happened in January this year? What happened in February? Go through the year, I go through the motions looking at your phone, go back and look at the pictures. That helps me always realign myself timewise; it always helps me remember different days that happened because I have pictures to spark those memories. When I do that, it’s a practice that I do just to go back, not to dwell in the past, but to be thankful for where I’ve been and where I am today, so take some time today to just thank God for He is good. We always give him the praise; we always give Him the glory, and we get to share that amongst faithful people.

Prayer:

We thank You, Lord. We thank you not just for this beautiful Friday, God, but we thank you for our lives. We thank you for where we were in November of 2021. And where we are today. We thank you for 650 episodes of the mind morning podcast, or we thank you for all the prayer requests and the amount of people who are needing your help, your strength, and your wisdom. We thank you because we know that we have an army of brothers and sisters that know that life is not easy, but God, you are the Center for us also in that we are thankful that we have like-minded people to do life with God. We bring you our petitions, we bring you our prayer requests, or bring your wants or needs. Or we ask that you bless us this weekend, and we ask that you continue to fight on our behalf. We thank you in advance because we know you never stop. It is in your son’s holy name that we pray today and every day. Amen.
