Episode 653
TODAY’S READING
4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
John 1:4
We’re talking about Jesus, and that life was the light of all mankind. And what we’re really talking about here is that He is the light that shines within all the light that we have the ability to either feed and foster or the light that we can start, and we can see that in some people who have chosen to walk away from the light that’s inside. Others can see it in us, and we can see it in others. What I hope is that in this holiday season, we bring the light out of each other. When we pay for someone’s coffee, take someone out for ice cream, listen to another person’s story give out compliments to others because they’re free. Try to light up someone else’s life so they can continue to pay it forward to the next person. They come in. Contact with. It feels good to make someone else feel good. So make that your priority today. Feed the light of Jesus that is found inside of you, and then feed the light that is found inside another person. See how that changes your attitude for today. See how that changes the trajectory for another person and see how it makes you feel in return.
Prayer:
Father God, we thank you, Lord, for these beautiful ones. They gotta thank you for the light that you have deposited into every single one of us, Lord; we ask that today we make it a point to continue to bring out the good and other people. May we look for your fingerprints everywhere we go. We know that everybody’s battling a story, but we also know that you’re fighting on everybody’s behalf. So let us see where you are. Let us see the battles that you are fighting and the battles that you’re winning. And then let us bring out to the light an in another person may we give out compliments for free. May we pay for a person’s coffee just because we listen to another person’s story. We are present when our family when, friends, and when strangers are like are talking to us. And we get off our phones and give that person attention because in that quality time. We know that they will see Jesus in us, and we will see Jesus in them. We thank you in advance. We ask for your hand to continue to bless us this season. We love you. We pray this on your son’s mighty, mighty name. Amen.
