Episode 656
TODAY’S READING
1 “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty.
Malachi 3:1
I think that this verse And the title of the verse speaks to God’s character when he looks at us and when we are lost in the world without Jesus in our heart. Did you get my message? He sent us a messenger, and that message came in the form of a baby. And that baby grew to become a man who walked this earth for 33 years. He gave us three years of ministry; three years are working miracles. He showed us and paved the way for us so that every generation and every single generation after that would know what it means to walk in freedom. So when we are looking at ads at this Advent season as we are preparing for the birth of Jesus, may we always remember that this is a season to celebrate a message that God sent us to celebrate the Lord that He sent into our lives to not just pay that way, to not just show us how to live but to bring us the light to bring us the joy and to bring us the grace that God’s soul wanted to give us.
He gave us a way to communicate directly to the Father without having to sacrifice anything because Jesus paid it all for us. So this is a really special time for us. And a lot of people are going to be celebrating Christmas, and the world will fill our feeds with all things Christmas, all things Santa, all things, toys, and gifts. And all of those are very important memories. They serve as great pillars of conversations, but I hope we end the conversation with our friends and family with Jesus. May we pave the way, and may we send our friends and family members who don’t know him the message God sent us. Did you get my message? God wants to know, and if we did that, let us continue to pay it forward.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for sending your message. Loud and clear. Thank you for sending your son Jesus. As we prepare for this advocacy season. We promised to continue to keep him at the forefront of our conversations and at the center of everything that we do. All of the gratitude and the praise is yours, Lord, all of the gratitude and praise is for him. Now, at this moment in these days to come. The world will get loud, and we’re gonna get very busy, and time will escape us. It’s natural. But we know that no matter how busy life gets, we’re going to promise to take the time to slow down to speak to you to thank you and to give you the praise and the glory every step of the way. We promise that we got your message loud and clear. We love Him with everything in us, and we are excited to share the season with those that don’t know Jesus so they may know him. More and more each and every day through everything that you have done in our lives. We ask that you bless us this Monday and that you continue to bless us as the week progresses. It is in your son’s mighty name that we pray. Amen.
