TODAY’S READING

28, And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:28

That is that we were called to bear witness to Jesus in all that we do, in all that we say, and everywhere that we go, and I know that 2023 is gonna be a fantastic year for us all. I know it’s a year that we’re gonna grow deeper in our faith. It’s going to be a year that we grow deeper in our relationship with those around us. We’re going to grow deeper in our communities are going to grow deeper in our faith. And I’m just declaring that God continues to pour out His blessings over our finances or our relationships. If you are in a season of waiting for a spouse, I pray that God continues to work in you while you are in this season of waiting so that the day that the spouse comes along, you’ll know that it’s from God and it’s a gift from God. And I pray that if you are in a season of expecting a child, God continues to work in you and that He gives you strength and wisdom in this time of waiting. And as you guys prepare for this here, no matter what the year has to offer us, no matter what we face coming into this new year. 

We know that Jesus is at the center. He is in control, and nothing shocks him. And so that means that he knows what’s going to happen. Nothing will come and surprise him. It might surprise us, but it will not surprise him and his plans. It will always be greater. I am so excited for 2023. This past year was my best year to date, but I know that God is a show-off, and I cannot wait to see him continue to work in my life. And I hope that you are excited for him to work in yours. So just remember that we do have a calling, and it is to bear witness to Jesus. So think of some things that you can incorporate into your goals as you prepare for 2023 that can keep Jesus at the forefront can keep the greater mission at the absolute center of our lives. How many more people can we talk to or reach? What can we do in our communities? How can we be faithful in our finances? Where is God pushing and pulling us, and how can we execute?

Prayer:

Father God, thank You, Lord, for this beautiful Thursday. We come together in prayer day in and day out because, Lord, we want to get to know you; we want to spend some time with you every day. So Lord, we just take this opportunity to say thank you to give You all the praise for all that we have in our lives, for the breath in our lungs and the food in our bellies. And Lord, as we prepare for this new year, we know the best is yet to come. We know that you are going to be all up in our year, no matter what trials and tribulations and no matter what celebrations lie ahead of us. We know who wrote the story. We know nothing will shock you. And we know that that just gives us the courage and the strength to bold blindly into the year with all the faith that you are in control. We thank you. We love you. We pray this all in your son’s Mighty Name, Amen.
