Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Mark 11:24

We can hear God in our prayers. It’s one of the biggest tools in our relationship with Him. So many times, we choose to deal with our problems alone, and we never bring them up to prayer. We could go a year into our project without ever asking God what he thought about it. This has happened to me, this has happened to a man, and we’ve embarked on projects on business ventures on different things that we want to do. We want to bring this into the world. But then God looks at us and says, Did you ever ask me if this was a door that you can open? Prayer allows us to sort out all of that.

When we sit in our frustrations, and we ask God, why didn’t you bless this? He could turn around and ask us why he didn’t include me in this, to begin with? He wants us to bring our worries, our troubles, and our anxieties to him. It brings us comfort; it reminds us of his never leaving presents and reminds us that there is someone in our corner watching over us, fighting for us. We have to have those daily conversations with him. Prayer is a lifeline in our journey with him. And I don’t want to get to heaven, and I said this before, but I don’t want to get to heaven and see a stranger. I want to get to heaven and meet my best friend in person. I want to see a friend with that I have spent years on this earth fostering a beautiful relationship with Him through the power of prayer, prayers, communication, prayer creates relationship. God is there. He loves you. He knows your most inner thoughts. He knows the number of hairs on your head. He knows everything about you. In return. I pray that we have the same hunger to get to know him while we have our time here on Earth.

Prayer:

Father God, thank You, Lord, for this Wednesday. We thank you for the ability to get to know you, the ability to connect with you the ability to talk to you in our prayer life. And so guys, sometimes we don’t know what to say, and we know that just saying hi, and recognizing your presence is enough for you. And sometimes that’s enough for us to remember that you are sovereign, that you are there, that you are fighting our battles. And so, Lord, we bring you all the things that we are ashamed to bringing. We bring you all the projects that we think we can do on our own; Lord, you can move more with us than we can do alone. So can we give it all to you, we know that you want to be amongst all of our plans and all of our conversations; we should bring it to you first before we bring it to anybody else. So remind us today, not just a little bit more; we will not be in the habit of asking you first; remind us that you want to hear from us before we pick up the phone call and call a friend or a sister. We should call you. We thank you we love you. We ask that you bless us this Wednesday. We were excited for this weekend as we remember what you did. We remember that you sent your son for us. We love you. It is in your holy name that we pray. Amen.
