Jesus Loves

Jesus Loves

How do you personally feel when you hear the words, "Jesus loves you"? Do you find it easy or challenging to believe this?

Today's devotional, titled "Jesus Loves," reminds us of the unwavering love that Jesus has for each of us, no matter the challenges we face. Stephanie beautifully illustrates this truth by comparing God's love to that of a parent's love for their child, emphasizing that His love is constant, true, and ever-present. So, whether you're feeling uplifted or going through a tough season, this episode will remind you to hold on to the truth that Jesus loves you always.

We hope today's devotional brings you peace, comfort, and a renewed sense of Jesus's love. Remember, no matter what you face today or this week, Jesus loves you endlessly.

You're listening to my morning devotional podcast, episode 1036. Today's devote is called Jesus loves. Hey there. We're the Alessis, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the my morning Devotional podcast. Good morning, everybody, and happy Monday. We are so excited for another week of the my morning Devotional podcast.

00:00:36.487 --> 00:01:12.951
And this week is going to be awesome because we're going to be talking about some foundational truth about our faith. And this is actually things that our listeners have been asking for. And I could not think of a better person to do this week than Stephanie. So, steph, take it away. Thank you, Rochelle. I'm so excited because, yes, we. No matter how long you've been a Christian, you still need to go back to those foundational truths. Yes. So the first one we're going to dive into is Jesus loves. So you've probably heard it plenty of times, but let me reiterate it. Jesus loves you. He loves you. He is proud of you.

00:01:13.087 --> 00:01:20.483
He loves you for exactly who you are. He loves who you are trying to better yourself to become.

00:01:20.784 --> 00:01:57.537
He loves how you look. He loves your fun personality. He loves you. And why does he love you? Well, because he's your creator and he created you. The Bible says, for God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son. So he loved you enough to even go on the cross and die for you. Have you ever felt like, have you ever loved someone enough to die for them? That's a very rare type of love that we run into today. Well, there is a truth in knowing that Jesus, he died for you because he loves you.

00:01:57.706 --> 00:02:08.978
Now, I know that that's a challenge to believe, especially when life is hard, because you may wonder, well, if he created me, then why did. Why does he allow me to go through hard times?

00:02:09.145 --> 00:03:26.719
Which is a very valid thought to think through? Well, I don't know if you have a child or if you're a parent, but my children, I have two of them. I take care of them to the best of my abilities, but every once in a while, they still fall and trip and hurt themselves. They still have to go through little things during the day that hurt them. They are already at such a young age. They experience disappointment. They get upset at me. If I have to take away a toy. One time Gia was just walking and she fell and hurt her teeth. They get sick and I do everything I can to protect them, but they live in a world where bad things happen and sometimes they just are at the brunt of that. But I would be broken hearted if I as their parent heard that they questioned my love for them just because of the bad things they experienced that would break my heart. As a parent, I always look at my daughter and I tell her, I love you. I look her in the eyes and I say, mommy loves you forever and always. And my prayer is that as she gets older, as she experiences more and more life, she can hold on to the truth that everything she faces in life, she can always remember that her mom loves her no matter where she goes.

00:03:26.831 --> 00:04:21.911
It's the same thing with you and God. So no matter what you face, believing that God loves you, believing that Jesus loves you is a truth that you have to hold on to. It's something that you have to have faith to believe in and that's a challenge. But if you could just hold on to that truth that Jesus loves you, he's protecting you. He is doing everything that he can to guide, to protect you and to guide you. If you can hold on to that faith that I promise you'll start to see his love in other areas that you didn't see it before. Your eyes will start to open to his love in the everyday things, in the big things and in the little things. You'll even start to see his love and the hard, challenging things. You'll start to thank him for those challenges because you grow more and more confident in his love for you. So hang on to that truth. Jesus loves you. Every day, every minute, every hour for the rest of your life.

00:04:22.007 --> 00:05:21.026
He loves you. Wow, that's so good. Steph. I think you just put it in the perfect perspective for all of us. You just have to hold on to that truth that Jesus. Amen. Can you pray for us today? Yes. Let's do it. God, I thank you for everybody listening to this podcast today. And God, I pray that if anyone is feeling defeated, if anyone is feeling hopeless, if anyone is feeling loveless, if anyone is going through a season where they aren't experiencing that love from a parent, a friend, a spouse, wherever it may be, I pray that today they feel your love, your pure, strong, loyal love. God, nothing can get in between of your love for us. It is constant, it is true. It fights through every battle, it gets through every wall, it gets through every season and it is always there. So open up our eyes to see your love and our circumstance today. And in Jesus name we pray.

00:05:21.129 --> 00:05:39.365
