You're listening to my morning devotional podcast, episode 1103. Today's Devo is called be lifted up. Hey there. We're the alessis, a ministry family working together in our church in Miami, Florida. And if you're like us, when days get busy and to do lists get longer, it can be hard to find devotional time. That's why we've partnered with our friend Allison to produce a five minute daily dose of heaven. This is the my morning Devotional podcast. Good morning, everybody, and happy Wednesday. We've made it to the middle of the week. I hope that all of you are having a better week than you expected. We are praying that you have even a better end of the week than you are expecting.

00:00:43.787 --> 00:00:47.435
My name is Rochelle, and I get the privilege of being with you this week.

00:00:47.588 --> 00:00:51.404
If you've been listening to the past episodes, we're doing something a little bit different.

00:00:51.451 --> 00:04:15.364
But if this is, if you're just picking up from today, that's okay. You can still join this. You still can be a part of it. And what we're doing is that we're going over psalm 27 for this entire week. So on Monday, we started with psalm 27, verse one through three. On Tuesday, we read verse four through five, and today we're going to be reading verses six through seven. So I encourage you, if you haven't read yesterday's, take a pause right now. Go read verses four through five. And they come back. And let's finish up six, seven today. So let's read. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me. And I will offer in his tent sacrifices with shouts of joy. I will sing and make melody to the Lord. Hear, O Lord, when I cry out loud, be gracious to me and answer me. This is such a beautiful verse. And I hope that throughout the week, as you've read all these different verses, you see how powerful they all are. But even more important, how awesome they all build to each other. It only gets better every single day as you continue to read. And again, I encourage you today to have this verse in your mind, these verses in your mind all day with whatever you're doing. Maybe what you need to do today is write this verse on a sticky note and put it in your mirror. So when you wake up tomorrow, if this verse is really speaking to you, when you're brushing your teeth, when you're getting ready, you have it right in front of you, and you are declaring the word of the Lord upon your life. And you're meditating and you're starting your day strong with these verses. Let these verses wash over you every single day. Before you get to anything, before you open up your phone to check your to do list, to check all your emails, believe me, all those things will be waiting for you. But if you get a chance to say, I'm going to align myself and meditate on the word of God today and let these verses be what fuels me to do everything that I need to do today. You're going to see how you can conquer this day differently because you are aligning yourself to do this with the Lord and you're going to receive so much more from it. So maybe today's challenge for you is to write it on a sticky note. Maybe put it in your car. If you drive a lot, maybe put it in your car. If there's an area of your house, in your office, maybe put it right on your computer. Find a way to do it differently today, but still continue to meditate on the word of God. And also, like we've said, share with others, share these verses with ours, talk about the word of God with the people around you, and honor description. We actually have a text link directly for you to text us. If there's anything that you want to share with us, please share it through that text line. We would love to hear it. But before I leave, let's pray to have a great day today. Dear Father God, we just want to thank you because you have given us a great week so far. Thank you because I believe that you're using your word to fill every single listener file. Father, no word that every man can say will be enough. But father, your words will be exactly what they need. Your words today are affirming the listeners.

00:04:15.491 --> 00:04:29.898
They are encouraging, and you are filling them with the strength to do what they need to do. Father. And in all of that, Father, they will glorify you today and sacrifice for you today with shouts of joy like your verses. In Jesus name we pray.

00:04:30.004 --> 00:04:37.341
Amen. So there you have it, your five minute daily dose of heaven. Thank you so much for tuning in today.

00:04:37.485 --> 00:04:52.670
We pray these devotionals empower you to take on your day. If you found value in this devotional, share it with a friend, leave a comment or review for us on the app you're using right now. Until tomorrow, we pray that your latte is strong, but your love for Jesus is stronger.
